There are hundreds of hotels near Disney World south of Orlando Florida. Only fifteen of those hotels are official Disney operated properties situated within the Disney World Park. The rest of the hotels are independently operated establishments located outside of the park. All of the Disney hotels are very nice properties with various theme-oriented designs, excellent amenities and the renowned outstanding Disney service. They offer certain advantages over the non-Disney hotels, but they also cost a bit more than comparable independent hotels. The Disney hotel prices range from moderately priced to very expensive.
