Activities

Depending on the season, you'll have the opportunity to watch the cowboys work cattle, feed the livestock, mend fences, move the herd and engage in dozens of other ranch chores. You can climb in the saddle and join in the work, or just watch.

If you'd rather spend your day relaxing, you can take a leisurely ride across the rolling prairie, sit on the porch by the pool, take a stroll along the creek, pitch horseshoes, play volleyball or wander down to the fishing hole. Custom-made wagons provide comfortable tours of the ranch for guests who aren't partial to a saddle.

Great birding opportunities at the ranch, with over 60 species of birds seen in one day! At the end of the day, you can watch a magnificent sunset settle across the broad horizon. Mesquite-grilled steak and all the trimmings wait at the chuckwagon. Homemade cobbler and a crackling campfire soothe the body and mind as the stars begin to twinkle in the big Texas sky. A climate-controlled bunkhouse awaits guests ready for a good night's sleep.
