Las Vegas Tourist Map of the Strip
Navigating around Las Vegas is very simple. Nearly all of the major attractions are located along a single street that neatly bisects the city from north to south.
Las Vegas Boulevard, especially the segment extending from McCarran airport for three miles northward, is known as "the strip". Two dozen of the grandest, most spectacular hotel casinos in the world are located along the Las Vegas Strip.
Downtown Las Vegas is located around Fremont Street just five miles north of the airport. The downtown casino hotels are a bit more traditional Las Vegas. They are a bit less spectacular and a bit more affordable.
Sections of Las Vegas Boulevard between the strip and downtown can be rather seedy. I would avoid the cheaper hotels and motels in this area.
There are a few hotel-casino complexes scattered about the city. They tend to be very affordable as they compete with the more desirably located hotels along the strip.
You can compare prices, check room availability and make your reservations for all the Las Vegas hotels on our USATourist Hotel List.
