San Francisco, California - South SF & Airport

San Francisco International Airport is located about 10 miles south of the inner city on the shores of the great inland bay. The communities around the airport are known as South San Francisco, San Bruno, Millbrae and Burlingame. This is a commercial, industrial and residential area with many office buildings, shopping malls, restaurants, stores, hotels and residential communities.

There is a wide assortment of hotels in the area including many business class hotels, many family suite hotels, and many budget-priced hotels. There are few tourist attractions in the immediate area, but Downtown San Francisco and the Fisherman's Wharf area is only a 20-minute commute. There are plenty of shopping malls, restaurants and grocery stores in the surrounding communities.
